Today is the day where I share with you some of my favorite technology.  I have a confession, I am a phone app junkie.  I LOVE mobile apps and I love them so much that well over a year ago I had one made for us, here at Active Christian Media. Now on to the reason for this post...

I love mobile phone apps and one of my brand new favorite is AUTO SMS, which you may have figured out from the cleverly placed large graphic at the top of this post.  I LOVE this app for a number of reasons and I'd like you to go and download it today so you can enjoy the benefits.

What I like about this app besides the fact that it is free, is that is actually works the way they say it will.  I've used similar apps before and they were not very impressive.  Truth be known, I'll be buying the paid version of this very soon.... I mean, under $2...can't beat that with a stick!

I love the graphic interface on this app because they give you a choice of three colors - black, pink and green.  I like the green and pink and right now am using the pink.

The app also has six very easy functions within it and the reason I downloaded this app is because of the ease of scheduling text messages.  See, here's a secret... I love my husband and I love to send him messages through out the day, and with this app, I just take a few minutes to set up a series of a dozen tweets or so, and then poof...they are automatically sent when I say they are.  Since today is Valentines Day (or not, depending on when you read this) I've set up a dozen tweets telling my handsome hunk of a man, how much I love him today.

But here's the thing, I also have friends that I text scripture to everyday, so I use this app to set up those messages and you can even set it up to send to groups!  I know...totally cool.  In fact, if you'd like to be on my scripture message list, just text me your number and let me know and I'll add you.  Text 7142446890 and let me know you want on my list and I'll send you a message daily.

This application has the following functions, besides my favorite the scheduling feature.  Here are the other five:

1.  Autoreply - This is a nice feature if you want to confirm to the person sending you the message that you received their message.  Believe it or not, there are times when text messages get lost in outer space. This function is great to confirm.

2.  SMS Forwarding - If you're like me, sometimes you want to forward a cool text message you get.  This feature allows you to do that and it lets you add numbers, a list and has a notification setting.

3.  Instant - This features lets you connect with the image in your phone and then tie back a message that you can send instantly or send at a later time.

4.  Reader - This  is a nifty little feature that will read your text messages to you.  This is a great feature if you receive a lot of messages and are driving and can't pick up your phone to read them.

5.  Template - This feature is great because you can set up a template of your messages, and add a group, and it comes in handy especially if you tend to want to share information that is similar in many messages.  Why waste time when you can be productive.

Also if you are multilingual, this app allows up to eight different languages!
