A few weeks ago I learned about a relatively new social media platform for Twitter called Commun.it and today I wanted to tell you about it.

I have to admit that I am generally a skeptic when it comes to new media platforms and the reason why is because they often claim to enhance your experience, or make your life easier, when in reality, all they are is another time waster.

My experience with Commun.it has been beneficial, but I have to warn you and tell you that it does take an investment of time. This may stop some of you from trying it out, but I hope not. For me, I find that if I can take at least a few minutes a day to use Commun.it, my experience with my fellow Twitterers is extremely beneficial.

My experience with Commun.it is that it completely delivers on all three of their stated goals.

With Commun.it I have been able to find those people within my 19,000+ followers who engage my content, retweet it and comment on it. The user interface for Commun.it is extremely simple and user friendly and I love it because I can see at a glance, who my influencers are, my most engaged members, my supporters, my new followers, and my leads.

Commun.it also gives me suggestions on who I should unfollow and who I may want to follow.
